Answer:

Vestigial organs became non functional in the due course of evolution

Explanation:

Vestigial organs help in understanding the evolution process of an organism through which it has gone and lost its functionality. These organs are no more needed as they were needed in our ancestors. They look like residues of our ancestors. For instance appendix in human beings is a vestigial organ

In case of mammal like whlale, presence of pelvic bones indicates that they have originated from four legged land mammals who have lost their hind limbs.

Also the loss of function of vestigial organ, is due to the absence of selection pressures thereby lowering the importance of these organs in assuring the fitness of an individual in future generation. There can be a genetic drift or any random event that eliminated the functionality of vestigial organs

All of the following are products of cellular respiration except
EleoNora [17]

Answer:

Hi there, the answer is energy

Explanation:

Carbon dioxide, oxygen, and water are all products of cellular respiration in fact carbon dioxide and oxygen are extremely important for ATP. If you are talking about aerobic respiration oxygen is the main product for it because it reacts to glucose. The only thing that isnt part of the product of cellular respiration is energy. After ATP is created for the plants it makes its own energy afterward.

Hope this helped :)

DNA is double-stranded, while RNA is single-stranded. RNA contains ribose as a sugar, while DNA contains deoxyribose. Also, three of the nitrogenous bases are the same in the two types (adenine, cytosine, and guanine), but DNA contains thymine while RNA contains uracil.

Is it important to prevent Damage to the nerve cells
-Dominant- [34]

Yes, it's important to prevent damage to the nerve cells because if they were to get damaged you could get paralyzed. When your nerve cells are damaged the signals to move different parts of your body don't make it through to the muscles which leads to paralysis.
