Describe what Spartan society valued in their people, what types of behaviors and characteristics did they admire?
matrenka [14]

Answer:     Sparta is best suited for the ancient world. Today, it would not be okay for little boys to be enroled in the military at age seven. Especially because of the child labor laws in place. Men in Sparta were able to marry in their twenties, but were unable to return home untill age 30. When they weer able to return home, they were expected to be dead or victorious. This would. cause llots of problems today. They were unable to retire untill age 60. Women had morev freedom than those in Athens, but were only well trained in sports such as javelin throwing and wrestling. Spata was a more military oriented city-state. Today, most placed aren't that military oriented.
