I think what you're looking for is the Commutative Property which is generally a + b = b + a or (like in this situation) m = n equals to n = m. I hope that's what you meant :)

M,p, and z represent the lengths of the three sides of this right triangle. Select all the equations that represent the relation
Margaret [11]

Answer:

The equations are:

m^2 = p^2 + z^2     m^2 = z^2 + p^2

z^2 + p^2 = m^2     p^2 + z^2 = m^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

See attachment for triangle

Required

Select all true equations

From the attachment:

m = hypotenuse

p\ and\ z = other\ legs

Using Pythagoras theorem:

m^2 = p^2 + z^2

This can be rewritten as:

m^2 = z^2 + p^2

or

z^2 + p^2 = m^2

or

p^2 + z^2 = m^2
