Answer: A) Heuristic

Explanation: Heuristic are efficient mental shortcuts that aid people to make decisions as well as solve problems quickly. This shortens the time spent in thinking about a particular decision, helping people make decisions on the go and not having to stop and think of what to do next. The individual made use of all the subset information available to him to solve and narrow down all possibilities while trying to recall the address, making decisions on the go and not stopping to think of the next course of action. This illustrates the use of heuristic

Sentence examples of mountain barriers, ocean currents, wind barriers, mountain range, peninsula, and tundra.
slava [35]
A peninsula is an area of land (like Florida) that hangs off of land like an island but one part's connected.  A tundra is wide open, flat land, like the Alaskan Tundra.  A mountain range is a long string of mountains side by side like the Appalachians.  And for mountain barriers (I'm not sure I fully understand but) it seems like theirs more dew and wind for example on one side of the mountain and the others the opposite because the mountain blocks it (not completely sure bout the mountain part but i think its right!).  Ocean currents is the force of the wind blowing up against the sea, helping to create the waves, and of course the pull of the moon! Hope I helped! Sorry I can't help with the wind barriers part!

Which belief below is most closely associated with what John Locke asserted about the social contract?
nevsk [136]

Answer:

people agreed to form government and limit that government with a contract

Explanation:

According to  John locke, social contract is an agreement that the people in society made in order to maintain order/balance in society. The people agree to give up a certain level of their freedom and give the government with the power to regulate some aspects of their life.  But in return, the government need to keep working to improve the quality of life of the people.

The implementation of John Locke's social contract can be seen in modern day democracy, where we let a limited form of government to regulate the citizens' life.

The word 'limited' means that we install barriers of protection to prevent the government from violating crucial human rights that the citizens possess. In United States for example, we can see this in the implementation of BILL of rights.
