Start by finding the slope.

2x – 3y = 6
-3y = -2x + 6
y = 2/3x - 2
So the slope of this line is 2/3. The slope perpendicular to this is -3/2.

Now find 'b'.

y = -3/2x + b
-3 = -3/2(-2) + b
-3 = 6/2 + b
-3 = 3 + b
-6 = b

So your answer is
y = -3/2x - 6 or A..

I hope this helps! :D Feel free to ask any questions.And please, only if you think I deserve it, it would help a bunch if you marked this answer as branliest!

[[ Also, quick testing tip. At the point where you found what the perpendicular slope was, you didn't have to do the rest of the problem, because -3/2 is the only slope on answer A. ]]

The Cougar volleyball team won 3/4 of their games this year and 2/3 of their games last year. They play 24 games each year. How
Anit [1.1K]

Answer:

2 games

Step-by-step explanation:

First, find how many that won this year by multiplying 24 by 3/4

24(3/4)

= 18

Find how many they won last year by multiplying 24 by 2/3

24(2/3)

= 16

Find the difference:

18 - 16

= 2

So, they won 2 more games this year than last year

The measure of one of the angles formed by two parallel lines and a transversal is 45°. Is it possible for the measure of any of
liubo4ka [24]

Answer: No

Step-by-step explanation:

Three of the other angles are 45°. The other four are 180° - 45°, which is not 55°. At the intersection of two lines, opposite angles are equal and adjacent angles are complementary, so two adjacent angles add to 180°. Adding a parallel line gives four more angles identical to the first four.
