I need to draw an outline of my hand then draw a texture on each finger of the hand. I don't get what it means by texture. Pleas

Answer:

Trace your hand on a large sheet of paper and apply the five textured fingers you created to your hand.  Be sure to use the simulated texture rules we discussed to your textures:

when making your pattern, smaller is better and more repitition is better.

overlapping and shading (full value range) creates depth.

when texturing a cylinder (finger), wrap the texture around the finger, not straight across.

be sure the edges of the fingers reflect the same texture as the middle.
