I believe that it is still an important concept within the country. I think that this can be identified and shown through recent political movements. In particular the rise and support of the 'Black Lives Matter' movement is testament to the fact that people still feel that their rights to 'life and liberty' are being threatened. If we look slightly further back then there are clear mass movements that erupt when the populace of the United States feel that this is being threatened. Another example of this are the Rodney King riots that erupted in the 1990's.

The Second Industrial Revolution in USA was the time period between 1870 to 1914. During that time there was a revolutionary change in the electronic and technological spheres which caused the second industrial revolution.

During the second Industrial revolution there was a massive affect of rail roads on the cities. The key reason of growing rail road was the easy transportation system. Previously used the naval roads by the ships were expensive and time killing. But the use of railroad was less expensive and much time saving. As a result during the Second Industrial Revolution railroads had a great affect on transport system which accelerated the industrial revolution.

Moreover, the use of steel instead of iron to make the railroads was a major reason which made easy to construct railroads in a competitive way. the use of steel made expenses less than the iron.Even the railroads became more strong than the previous time. These advancements helped the railroads to affect on the cities for faster transportation during the Second Industrial Revolution.

What is Articles of Confederation?

The thirteen states fought in American Revolution create an arrangement known as article of confederation effected for eight years from 1781 to 1789. The states retain its rules, control and liberty.

The states were not supporting national government financially and some states were made agreements with foreign governments, resulting weak and helpless national government.

Following reasons which fail the article of confederation.

• Allowed only one vote to each state

• Tax cannot be collected from states

• No control on trades and cannot enforce any act

• The court, legal system and combine military force was not  available

• Each state have its own money, economy was not stable

These reasons were pointed out and states want changes in Articles of Confederation.
