Wite a paragragh of about 100-120 words on one of the problems of the city life
Ann [662]

Answer:

Commuting is a big problem in Delhi. In fact, it is a big challenge. Every morning the city dwellers have to rush to the bus stop. Then his ordeal starts with getting into the bus. The buses are packed to the capacity. So long as he doesn’t reach the workplace he is tensed for getting late. He may have to elbow out pick-pocketers, ignore frail kids and elderly persons, push ladies and argue with the conductors. His mood is spoilt in the very morning. Not to think of finding a seat, he hardly finds sufficient space to stand.

Explain how this idea of being “star-crossed” relates to both Romeo and Juliet AND Oedipus the King.
yarga [219]

Romeo and Juliet is like Oedipus the king because of the love Romeo and Juliet had was frowned on and not allowed to happen. Oedipus fell in love with his mother, making his love basically forbidden. They are similar for their forbidden loves.. I hope that this helps.

Select the correct text in the passage.
NikAS [45]

The excerpt that depicts the White family's doubt on the Major's story would be when Mr. White said:

"If the tale about the monkey's paw is not more truthful than those he has been telling us," said Herbert, as the door closed behind their guest, just in time to catch the last train, "we shan't make much out of it."
