When the printing press was invented, the newspaper could finally be mass produced. People all over the country or world could finally be informed about current events, latest political events, news on the election. The newspaper has also helped spread nationalism in war times> For example, people in the American Revolution used newspaper to spread news about how horrible the British were and help unify the nation.
