in my opinion i think that D would be the most rational answer

Explanation:

D would be the most rational answer because if you delete the info about the crops that is valuable info. If you delete the the last two paragraphs it would be harder to come to a conclusion. If you try and make the sentences similar in length you would have to reuse some of the other word from the other sentences and i the end you would end up repeating yourself.
