Both the Mughal and the Ottoman Empires were successful because they focused on religious tolerance. They allowed people to choose and practice their own faith. They also were accepting of diverse cultures. The Mughal and Ottoman Empires focused a great deal on trade and expansion and tried to impose fair laws to their citizens.
The
primary reason for their success was the respect and tolerance towards various
cultures as well as religions. Everyone was given the liberty to choose and
practice whichever faith they wanted to without any hindrance. Temple, mosques,
synagogues and churches all shared the same respect and protection. Another
reason was the law and order, which caused the corrupt element’s suppression,
leading Mughal and Ottoman empires
to success.
