What role does Bernice's aunt play in the story?

Social Studies

Bernice's aunt serves as her guide, a watcher, a mentor who keeps reminding him to act and behave politely as much as possible. As per her aunt, she should be polite, gentle, proper and domesticated. These attributes should be considered most, for being smart is not enough. Her aunt was mad when she cut her hair very short.

Which of the following benefits of neuromotor exercise will have the GREATEST impact on self-esteem? a) Enhanced flexibility b)
kakasveta [241]

Increased self-efficacy is the neuromotor exercise that will have the GREATEST impact on self-esteem

A person's self-efficacy relates to their confidence in their ability to carry out the behaviors required to achieve particular performance goals (Bandura, 1977, 1986, 1997). The belief in one's capacity to exercise control over one's own motivation, behavior, and social environment is known as self-efficacy. Self-efficacy, in Bandura's view, is a component of the self-system, which also includes one's attitudes, capacities, and cognitive talents.

This system has a significant impact on how we perceive and react to various events. An essential component of this self-system is self-efficacy. What objectives we pursue, how we carry them out, and how we evaluate our own performance are all influenced by self-efficacy.

How has the media impacted public opinion of wars?
PolarNik [594]
The media has the ability to influence public opinion of wars by putting out propaganda in support of one country and against another. This garners public support for one country and their actions while condemning the other. The information is often one sided and not relayed in a subjective manner, creating an unfair bias in the public eye.
