Both Germany's and Japan's policies led to war and ultimately defeat for each country. I predict that after the losses of World War II, each country attempted to rebuild more peacefully. I also predict that the victorious United States chooses to take a more active role in helping each country rebuild in order to more effectively keep the peace.

  • Germany was very impacted by the Great Depression, the country relied on American loans and when the banks began to call in the loans that existed the country was not prepared. They had a huge retraction of money and capital, many factories closed or were forced to dismiss workers. In a year the number of unemployment doubled in the country. The German government failed to hold inflation and help with unemployment, instead of in increased taxes and implemented wage cuts, which eventually led people to vote for Adolf Hitler, because he noticed public discontent.
  • Japan was also very much influenced by the Great Depression, the government aimed to eliminate weak banks and firms, the problem was that rural impoverishment became sever and people were hit by famine. The government became an easy target for criticism. The government promoted cartelization and rationalization and the free market was destroyed. All of this eventually led to military and right-wing movements in Japan.
  • Different from Germany and Japan, the US had a different approach to the Great Depression. Roosevelt was elected president and presented the New Deal, which consisted of three Rs: Relief, Recovery, and Reform. The government provided temporary help to people that suffered from unemployment (Social Security Act, Civilian Conservation Corps and Works Progress Administration), designed a series of Acts that helped the economy to bounce back and made a series of reforms that solved the problems that caused the depression and prevented a new one from forming.

Explain how culture influenced the Italian Renaissance?
tino4ka555 [31]
The Italian Renaissance was a time of cultural differentiation;

With various types of cultures - which had distinct religions - changing the life of those who were Italian, the Italian race or you could say, power prevailed greatly.  With more cultures colliding towards one another during the Italian Renaissance, there was, of course, a lot of wars or hostile behaviour against one another.

In the future, this lead to many successes during the Italian Renaissance such as technology levels rising and the race of all Italians began to expand worldwide.

Hope this helped! :)
