Well even though skills for basketball would be more useful for basketball, Skills from track could come in handy while running up and down the court. 
While using the skills of soccer accept with your hands to create confusion over where the ball was going next. 
But over all knowledge from other sports can be very helpful with becoming successful in basketball.

If you do any other sports that include a ball, you would have great hand eye coordination so it's helpful to get similar skills from other sports :) hope this helped;)
