Answer:

The Cold War event that happened last was the ending of the Vietnam War.

Explanation:

1- The Korean War, a confrontation between North Korea (supported by communist countries) and South Korea (supported by America), occurred between June 25, 1950 and July 27, 1953. This confrontation ended in a status quo, with both nations separated by a demilitarized zone.

2- Sputnik was the first artificial satellite in history, launched by the Soviet Union on October 4, 1957.

3- The Cuban Missile Crisis took place during October 1962, when Soviet missiles were located in Cuba by American planes, unleashing a diplomatic tension that threatened to unleash a nuclear war between the two superpowers. Finally, on October 28, 1962, the United States and the USSR reached an agreement that prevented the confrontation, which implied the dismantling of the missile bases in Cuba.

4- The Vietnam War was an armed conflict that took place between 1955 and 1975 in Vietnam and in the borders of neighboring countries (Cambodia and Laos). This war faced North Vietnam, communist, against South Vietnam, democratic and supported by the United States. This war ended in 1975 with the communist conquest of South Vietnam, and implied the first American defeat in a war in its history.

Question 1: Why was the Industrial Revolution one of the most important developments in human history, and why did it happen so
MArishka [77]

Answer:

  • The first Industrial Revolution, by moving from muscle to mechanical power changed the pace of production. As that pace changed and the hours of production increased, the ability to increase earnings practically without limit presented itself, since one could reinvest earnings to gain even more earning power.
  • Industrialization created an abundance of goods and resources. Workers noticed that despite the increase in production they participated in the creation of, they themselves were not seeing much of the increases to their wages. Workers saw themselves as contributing to the formation of the industrialized and automated system and didn’t want to be left out of reaping the abundance it promised.

Lera25 [3.4K]

Uh, I will try to answer this to the best of my abilities; and try my best to paint a clear picture you were aiming for. Best bet for me from what you were saying would be 'Department of Public Safety.' Within that consists men and women who overlook procedures and such that are done by agencies in their said jurisdiction.
