Answer:

'Slavery' and 'Revenge and Forgiveness' are the two themes in William Shakespeare's 'The Tempest.'

Explanation:

‘The Tempest’ is a play by William Shakespeare which is known to be his last play. The story revolves around many themes, two of the main themes are: Slavery and Revenge and Forgiveness.

The theme of slavery is depicted in a sense that Ariel, who is an airy spirit works as a slave under Prospero, who is shown as the desposed Duke of Milan. But later, when Prospero achieves justice, then Ariel is freed from slavery.

The theme of Revenge and Forgiveness is shown when Prosperous in urge of taking revenge goes on wrong path and makes Ariel and Caliban (who is a son of witch) his slaves. But after succeeding in taking revenge, Prosperous finally forgives his brother. The other themes of this play includes Magic, Power of Language, and Exploitation.

Which principal part of the verb best completes this sentence? I confessed that I had __________ all the leftovers.
nalin [4]
Sometimes, reading things out loud can help a lot.  "I had eat all the leftovers."  Does that sound right?  How about "I had eating all the leftovers," or "I had ate all the leftovers"?  What about "I had eaten all the leftovers"?

If this doesn't work for you, think of it like this: you must always use the PAST PARTICIPLE after a form of the word "have."  For example, "I had given you the present."  Which of your options is most similar?  Most likely, the answer is "eaten": "I confessed that I had eaten all the leftovers."

Answer: B. Eaten
