For each table, identify the independent and dependent variables. Represent the relationship using words, an equation, and a gra

ph.
Number of Chairs Painted, p | Paint Left (oz), L
0 | 128
1 | 98
2 | 68
3 | 38
I know p is independent and L is dependent, i can come up with a graph, i just need you to come up with an equation, i can't think of one that will work, i have tried many.

please Just come up with an equation, i had a person "try" the numbers up there are parts of the equation, not the A B C D answrs, there are none. I just need an equation
like l = p * 68 or something

(0,128),(1,98)
slope = (98 - 128) / (1 - 0) = - 30

y = mx + b
slope(m) = -30
y int (b)...ur y int is when x = 0....and u have (0,128)...so ur y int is 128
sub into ur equation
y = -30x + 128 <=== ur equation

Answer:

p(c)=-30c+128or \:30c+p=128

Step-by-step explanation:

1) Reading the table, the y values are constantly decreasing in 30 units. So, it is a linear function.The paint left is dependent of the amount on the number of the chairs.

2) To find out the function, we need the slope. Let's pick two coordinate points (0,128) and (1,98). And then plug it in the slope equation

m=\frac{98-128}{1-0}\Rightarrow m=-30\\

3) To find out the linear parameter, <em>b</em>. Then let's calculate it by plugging other points into the function:

128=-30(0)+b \Rightarrow b=128\\98=-30(1)+b \Rightarrow b=128

Finally,

p(c)=-30c+128

PtichkaEL [24]

Answer: The length of LK is 40.

Step-by-step explanation:

LK = 6x+10

KM = 2x+8

LM = 58

so

LM = LK + KM

or, 58 = 6x+10+2x+8

or, 58 = 8x + 18

or, 58-18 = 8x

or, 8x = 40

so, x = 5

now

LK = 6x + 10

     = 6*5+10

     = 30 +10

     = 40

Find the perimeter of this semi-circle with diameter,
yan [13]

Answer:

The answer to your question is  P = 17(π + 2) or 17π + 34

Step-by-step explanation:

Data

Diameter = 34 cm

Formula

P = rπ + 2r

Process

1.- Find the radius

radius = diameter / 2

radius = 34 / 2

radius = 17 cm

2.- Substitute the values in the formula

P = 17π + 2(17)

3.- Simplification

P = 17π + 34

4.- Factor

P = 17(π + 2)
