The answer is -485.

To find this we first need to get rid of the 5 in the denominator.

100 = \frac{15 - x}{5}

So we multiply each side by 5.

 500 = 15 - x

Now we need to get rid of the 15. So we subtract 15 from both sides.

485 = -x

Then since our x is negative, we need to divide by -1.

-485 = x

A protein mix claims to contain a bonus of 20% more mix than the usual size container. If the bonus size contains 18 ounces of m
agasfer [191]

Answer:

The usual size of the container is 15 ounces.

Step-by-step explanation:

Consider the provided information.

A protein mix claims to contain a bonus of 20% more mix than the usual size container.

Let the usual size of the container was x ounces.

They increase 20% of usual size and the bonus size is 18 ounces.

Therefore, the new size should be:

x+20\%x=18

x(1+0.20)=18 (∴20%=\frac{20}{100}=0.20)

x(1.20)=18

x=\frac{18}{1.20}

x=15

Hence, the usual size of the container is 15 ounces.

Suppose that there are 15 antennas in a store, of which 3 are defective. Assume all the defectives and all the functional antenn
ohaa [14]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Total number of antenna is 15

Defective antenna is 3

The functional antenna is 15-3=12.

Now, if no two defectives are to be consecutive, then the spaces between the functional antennas must each contain at most one defective antenna.

So,

We line up the 13 good ones, and see where the bad one will fits in

__G __ G __ G __ G __ G __G __ G __ G __ G __ G __ G __ G __G __

Each of the places where there's a line is an available spot for one (and no more than one!) bad antenna.

Then,

There are 14 spot available for the defective and there are 3 defective, so the arrange will be combinational arrangement

ⁿCr= n!/(n-r)!r!

The number of arrangement is

14C3=14!/(14-3)!3!

14C3=14×13×12×11!/11!×3×2

14C3=14×13×12/6

14C3=364ways
