So we multiply 300 by 1/16.
300 x 1/16 = 300 ÷ 16 = 18.75

Now we know: 300 oz/sec equals 18.75 lbs/sec

But, we want to know how many lbs per minute (lbs/sec)

We need to calculate how many seconds are in a minute.
1 minute = 60 seconds.

We know how many lbs per second. 
If we want to know how many lbs per minute, we multiply # of pounds per seconds by 60.

# pounds per second x 60 = # pounds per minute

# pounds per second: 18.75

18.75 x 60 = # lbs/min

18.75 x 60 = 1125

This means that 300 oz/sec => 1125 lbs/min
