Answer:

1. Symbiosis; relationship.

2. Parasitism; relationship; benefits; harmed.

3. Benefit.

4. Commensalism; benefits; neutral.

Explanation:

Ecology can be defined as a branch of biology that typically deals with the study of the relationship or interaction between organisms and their immediate environment. The four (4) main types of ecological relationship between living and non-living organisms include the following;

1. Symbiosis is a close, long-term relationship among two or more species that live and interact together.

2. Parasitism is a special type of symbiotic relationship in which one organism feeds on and lives in or on another organism. This is the parasite that benefits and the host organism is harmed.

3. Mutualism is a relationship in which both members benefit.

4. Commensalism is a relationship in which one member benefits, but the other organism neither benefits nor is harmed. The effect is neutral.

Read these lines from Emily Dickinson’s poem “A Bird came down the Walk.”
aleksandr82 [10.1K]

Answer and Explanation:

An alliteration is the repetition of sounds or letters at the beginning of words that are close to each other in a structure. I believe there are two lines in which alliteration can be found in the excerpt provided:

Too silver for a seam—

Or Butterflies, off Banks of Noon

In the first line, there is the repetition of the /s/ sound, while in the second one, of the /b/ sound. The words are in quick succession, close to each other, which makes the repetition even more noticeable.

NOTE: I was unable to find this question online to see what the options are. In case you should only choose one line, pick the second one - butterflies / banks.
