Answer: The order of decreasing dry mass in human cells is C→O→H→N

Explanation:

Dry mass of the element in human cells means the mass of elements which have lost all the water.

Human cells consist of many chemical elements. Some of them are: Carbon (C), hydrogen (H), oxygen (O), nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), calcium (Ca), sulfur (S), potassium (K), sodium (Na), chlorine (Cl), magnesium (Mg) and many more.

Most abundant element found in the human cells is carbon.

The composition of the dry mass of the elements in human cells are:

Carbon = 47 %

Oxygen = 30 %

Hydrogen = 9 %

Nitrogen = 8 %

Phosphorus = 3 %

Sulfur + Potassium + Calcium + Sodium + Chlorine + Magnesium = 2 %

Other elements = 1 %

The decreasing order of dry mass of elements in human cells is:

C>O>N>H

Hence, the order of decreasing dry mass in human cells is C→O→H→N

How does jurgis react to the tour of durham's meatpacking plant?
miv72 [106K]

When Jurgis visited the durham's meat packing plant she saw that the diseased meat were injected with chemicals, spiced and canned to be sold in the market. Some of the packers buy rancid butter and they oxidize it to get rid of the odor.The men working there were also inflicted with some disease. The butcher often get cut and work with the bleeding hand and contaminate the meat. the meat of different animals are packed and sold with the name of some other animals.

Hence, the trip to meat packing plant was horrible and pathetic. That was so unhygienic that after seeing the conditions there, it is impossible for a person to buy the meat and eat it with a trust.

Why is inter phase important to an organism?
Katyanochek1 [597]
Interphase is when the cell grows and duplicates chromosomes. This is important for the cell to divide, because otherwise, the cell would shrink everytime it divided and would not have a sufficient amount of DNA
