In fact, fascism was an actual political party in Italy. Although fascism is constantly compared to nationalism, we can see nationalism in communism just as much (South Korea and Venezuela). There are quite a lot of nationalists that believe in the opposite of fascist and communist types of economy. Trump supporters, mostly, believe in a more open market type of economy than the opposition, for example.
