It's good that you're thinking about your future. To prepare for your future job, I think that you should start NOW. To assure that you will do your job to your best ability, you should start training yourself right now. Laziness can get you into a lot of trouble because usually bosses don't take minimum effort.) →Try to stick to a routine (Even though some people like change, trying new things can lead to a lot of failure. If you do try something new, make sure that you think of EVERY possible outcome.)
The moral I'm trying to get to you is: Build good habits and get rid of the bad ones.
