The average weight of the 1 year boy child is 21 pounds, with height of 30 inches. If she is girl child  then her weight is 18 pounds with height of 25 inches.

Its a thumb rule , according to that babies triple their birth weight in a first year.Baby boys are normally heavier then girl child.sometime it can be happen that child can gain more weight or loss some little weight, that's normal.

Between 4 to 6 months of a child , child's weight is double as compare their birth weight. After breastfeeding child gaining weight accordingly. Also they can gain an average of an inches a month during the first six month.
