It had a major impact on these areas. It enforced islamic law, but also allowed people of other religions to live in their areas for a certain tax which they had to pay to live undisturbed. They also had their own representatives. There was however an influence of islamic culture on the different nations found under their empire.

The Islamic empire impacted the area it ruled by helping to read religion during the Islamic golden age. During his time period advancements were made in the arts , philosophy , mathematics , medicine and various other advancements were made along with some being architectural.
