From the beginning of the war, and despite the policy of isolationism, the USA helped England with armaments, food and financial assistance. When the country entered the war all its industry changed as well as its society and lifestyle. Young men went to war and women took their places in working life. The industry transformed completely and went from producing consumer goods to producing armaments and military supplies to face the great war.
Well this is my own Opinion but I say "Maybe", Many Native Americans fought in WW1 and WW2, even though they were forced Assimilation.
