Let c = 10.

Drag the expression into the box that makes the comparison true.
Nata [24]

The answer is 4c-10

10 + 25 (35) is less than 40 - 10 (30)

For these you just plug in the value given for the variable (in this case, c) to each choice until you find the one is true

rosijanka [135]

The amount that will be in the account after three years is $1,254.00.

Using this formula

B = P+ ( P x R x T)

Where:

B=Amount ?

P=Principal=$1,200

r=Rate=1.5% or 0.015

T=Time=3 years

Let plug in the formula

B=$1,200+($1,200×0.015×3)

B=$1,200+$54

B= $1,254.00

Inconclusion the amount that will be in the account after three years is $1,254.00.

liraira [26]

Given:

A dolphin was swimming 7 meters below the surface of the ocean.

It located a squid and dove down 4 more meters to eat it.

Lamar subtracted – 7–( – 4) and came up with an answer of – 3 meters.

To find:

The location of the dolphin now relative to the surface and check whether Lamar is correct or not.

Solution:

A dolphin was swimming 7 meters below the surface of the ocean.

Location of the dolphin relative to the surface = -7

Here, negative sign represents the direction below the surface.

It located a squid and dove down 4 more meters to eat it.

Dove down = -4

Location of the dolphin now relative to the surface = -7+(-4)

                                                                                     = -7-4

                                                                                     = -11

Therefore, the location of the dolphin is 7 meters below the surface of the ocean and Lamar is not correct. She subtracts -4 instead of adding it.
