Answer:

D. The youngest volcano of the track occurs at one end of the track.

Explanation:

Hotspot tracks can be described as a process in which lines of islands, atolls, and seamounts are produced as plate continues to move away from the lava stream, it carries built up volcanoes with it; as these volcanoes cool and subside.

Examples are Hawaii, Yellowstone and Iceland hotspots.

Explain how clearing of land also has a detrimental impact on the water supply.
mixas84 [53]
Let's say that the land has pollution meaning there is trash everywhere and dead plants over there, with those types of pollution it will harm our water supply because sometimes the pollution can affect our water.
Clearing the lands that has pollution can do good for our water and our ecosystem. When we clean the lands, more plants are able to grow, animals build their homes there, etc. That means that the animals and/or plants have a drinking water that is safe to drink and isn't polluted because we cleaned the land and the water.
Keep America clean.

Hope this helped :)

How many provinces are completely or partially included between 50 N. and 60 N. latitude
Andreas93 [3]

There are seven provinces that are either entirely or partially located between 50 N and 60 N.

Explanation:

Canada is a vast country, in fact it is the second largest in the world. The country is located on high latitude, and more than half of its mainland territory is between the latitudes of 50 N and 60 N. The provinces are very large, and each of them is larger than big portion of the countries in the world. In the southern half of the country, the provinces tend to be arranged in an east to west manner, kind of by longitude.

  • There are ten provinces in Canada.
  • Seven out of the ten provinces are entirely or partially between the latitudes of 50 N and 60 N.
  • The provinces located between these latitudes are Newfoundland, Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia.
  • The three other provinces, Nunavut, North West Territory, and Yukon Territory, are located further north, mostly between 60 N and 70 N.
