The answer to A would be 156
and I know 3 bricks per minute and it took him 55 mins. but I I'm not exactly sure what to put for the equation nor the x and Y but the numbers does have something to do with the table like
3x 3 would be bricks and X would be one minute. and 55 could be your Y on the graph but don't quote me on it tho. it's been a while. but the answer to A I'm sure of tho.

a.) He takes down 3 bricks each minute, and it takes him 55 minutes to tear down the wall.

x = number of minutes

y = total number of bricks

3x = y

Plug in 55 for x because that is how long it took him to finish tearing down the wall

3(55) = y

165 = y

There were 165 bricks originally in the wall

b.) Your equation is 3x = y

For the table you could put whatever x values you want, I am not sure if your teacher prefers if they go in a pattern (5, 10, 15, 20 or 10, 20, 30, 40) or if they could be random inputs (10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 55) but once you choose your x inputs, you plug it into the equation to find "y"

You can go by 5's: 0,5,10,15,20,25, all the way up to 55 (which will need 3 more boxes, again idk if your teacher will mind)

For graphing, you could do for every 2 units(squares) you can go by 10's for the x-axis. And for the y-axis, for every 2 units(squares) you can go by 20's.

The distance between Lincoln, NE, and Boulder, CO, is about 500 miles. The distance between Boulder, CO, and a third city is 200
GenaCL600 [577]
We know that

The sum of the lengths of any two sides of a triangle is greater than the length of the third side (Triangle Inequality Theorem)

Let

A------> Lincoln, NE

B------> Boulder, CO

C------> third city

we know that

in the triangle ABC

AB=500 miles

BC=200 miles

AC=x

Applying the Triangle Inequality Theorem

1) 500+200 > x------> 700 > x------> x < 700 miles

2) 200+x > 500----> x > 500-200------> x > 300 miles

the solution for x is

300 < x < 700

the interval is------> (300,700)

the possible distances, d, in miles, between Lincoln, NE, and the third city, are in the range between 300 and 700 miles
