Answer: Crusades were declared by the pope Urban II in the 11th century (1095) in today´s French city of Clermond-Ferrand. The motive of it was the occupations of the Holy Land by Seljuk Turcs. Who instigated this act of the pope was Byzantine Emperor Alexios I Komnenos who asked Urban II for help. Thus the 1st Crusade was initiated. In fact it was the most expressive and expansive and military aspect of medieval Christianity

Explanation: Crusades is a perfect manifestation of the narrow link between papacy and secular power (kings and emperors) and of medieval times.

Which of the following describe a disadvantage secondary sources have compared to primary
Reptile [31]

Option A. The disadvantage that secondary sources have is that they are created by people who have never experienced the historical period they describe.

What is meant by secondary sources?

This is the term that is used to describe the data that are known to already be in existence. These are the types of data that can be gotten from journals or from large government data base.

These types of data are very unlike the primary data that the researcher has to source and create for himself. The primary data would be gotten directly from the field by the researcher who wants to carry out an experiment to determine a phenomenon.
