Answer:

Letter A indicates the epidermis, which is the outer layer of the root.

Explanation:

The internal structure of the eudicot root consists of three concentrical layers: The epidermis, the cortex, and the central vascular cylinder.

The epidermis is the outer layer of the root. It covers the totality of the root surface, absorbs water and minerals from the soil, and protects the internal tissues.

The cortex occupies a big part of the root and its located under the epidermis. The most internal cell layer of the cortex is called endodermis.

The vascular cylinder is composed of vascular tissues -the xylem and the phloem- that is surrounded by one or more cell layers called pericycle. The xylem looks like a cross of big cells in the center, and the phloem occupies the spaces between the pericycle and the xylem.

The Forearm

Explanation:

The proximal end of the radius illustrates the relationship of form and function. The cup-like surface of the radial head articulates with the rounded shape of the capitulum. This forms a joint that allows for movement of elbows and forearms.

Radius and ulna are the two bones of the forearm. Their proximal ends articulate and fit into the cup like end of the humerus. This forms a synovial joint called the elbow joint. The movement of this joint allows the forearms to supinate and pronate.

Arguments FOR GMOs? Arguments AGAINST GMOs?

stich3 [128]

❤️Hello!❤️ In my opinion, i'm against GMO's. First of all you need to understand what GMO stands for, GMO means (Genetically Modified Organisms) and does that REALLY sound appealing to eat (Be honest). So now we have that covered i'm going to tell you some reasons why YOU should avoid Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO's). First of all GMO's are unhealthy, according to the American Academy of Environmental Medicine. They cite animal studies showing organ damage, gastrointestinal and immune system disorders, accelerated aging, and infertility. Second of all, GMO's contaminate forever. GMO's cross pollinate and their seeds can travel. It is impossible to fully clean up our contaminated gene pool. Self propagating GMO pollution will outlast the effects of global warming and nuclear waste. The impact is huge, threatening the health of future generations. Third of all, GMO's increase herbicide use, most GMO crops are engineered to be “Herbicide tolerant”―they deadly weed killer. Monsanto, for example, sells Roundup Ready crops, designed to survive applications of their Roundup herbicide. Between 1996 and 2008, US farmers sprayed an extra 383 million pounds of herbicide on GMO's. Overuse of Roundup results in “superweeds,” resistant to the herbicide. This is causing farmers to use even more toxic herbicides every year. ♒️ Hope this helps!♒️ ↪️ Autumn ↩️
