It turned the tide of the war and was a major russian/allied victory. After that battle it was down hill for the Germans, as they continued to be pushed back and the Germans also needed that victory to secure a road at stalingrad that led to oil fields.

Puritans did not agree with the Anglican church so the wanted to change it. They could do that in Massachusetts. Church leaders led the local government and everyone in the colony had to pay to support the Puritan church. - www.manythings.org.
