Has anyone read the DragonLance: The dragons of chaos?
zavuch27 [327]
<span>the exposition is the idea or theory behind the book so "whats the book about"

a rising action is a series of events that build up to the climax so
example" he looked and looked for his dog.. but then he found his collar"

the climax is the turning point in his story
example" he found the dogs collar and tracks"

the falling action would be a conflict that unravels with the main character " the dog"
example would be like " he finally found the dog, "why did you leave spot"asked the boy
" cause you said you would get rid of him" said the tramp

the resolution would be the end of the story

"I am sorry spot" said the boy "i will never get rid of you"</span>

How to write an intoduction paragraph
PtichkaEL [24]

Answer:

The First Paragraph: The Introduction

Describe your main idea, or what the essay is about, in one sentence. ...

Develop a thesis statement, or what you want to say about the main idea. ...

List three points or arguments that support your thesis in order of importance (one sentence for each).

Voila! You’ve just written your introductory paragraph.

The Second, Third and Fourth Paragraphs: Supporting Details

These three paragraphs form the body of the essay. They provide details, such as facts, quotes, examples and concrete statistics, for the three points in your introductory paragraph that support your thesis. Take the points you listed in your introduction and discuss each in one body paragraph. Here’s how:

First, write a topic sentence that summarizes your point. This is the first sentence of your paragraph.

Next, write your argument, or why you feel the topic sentence is true.

Finally, present your evidence (facts, quotes, examples, and statistics) to support your argument.

Now you have a body paragraph. Repeat for points two and three. The best part about introducing your main points in the first paragraph is that it provides an outline for your body paragraphs and eliminates the need to write in transitions between paragraphs.

The Fifth Paragraph: The Conclusion

The concluding paragraph must summarize the essay. This is often the most difficult paragraph to write. In your conclusion, you should restate the thesis and connect it with the body of the essay in a sentence that explains how each point supports the thesis. Your final sentence should uphold your main idea in a clear and compelling manner. Be sure you do not present any new information in the conclusion.

what is the speaker trying to do in this poem"to the doctor who treated the raped baby and who felt such despair"and how this is
Gekata [30.6K]
<span>It is raising a note and upholding a certain emotion of disgust to the doctor's behavior. This is achieved by the speaker's tone, use of words and the ethos. Moreover, ethos speaks of the character's credibility or the persuader's credibility of what he or she is asserting and positing, is it strong and bold or just a mere existent elaboration. Thus follows the characteristics on tone, logos and pathos. Ethos is one key to trusting since it presents one's consistency and as a reliable speaker. </span>
