You multiply 3x9x5x4=540

You would want to start by cutting it into 2 rectangles!

So the dimsenions of the 2 are,

3 x 5, and 5 x 4

A = lw 
A = (3)(5)
A = 15

A= lw
A=(5)(4)
A=20
 
20+15=35

So the area is 35ft^2
