False because in st. Luke  it says that "<span> So it was, as the multitude pressed about Him to hear the word of God, that He stood by the Lake of Gennesaret, </span><span>2 and saw two boats standing by the lake; but the fishermen had gone from them and were washing their nets. </span><span>3 Then He got into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, and asked him to put out a little from the land. And He sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat.</span>

<span>4 When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.”</span>

<span>5 But Simon answered and said to Him, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net.” </span><span>6 And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. </span><span>7 So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink. </span><span>8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!”</span>

<span>9 For he and all who were with him were astonished at the catch of fish which they had taken; </span><span>10 and so also were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, “Do not be afraid. From now on you will catch men.” </span><span>11 So when they had brought their boats to land, they forsook all and followed Him."</span>

How is a weak analogy different from a false alternative fallacy?
Arte-miy333 [17]

<u>Answer:</u>

Now and then depicted as a false analogy or a faulty analogy, the week analogy presents a defense by depending too vigorously on superfluous similitudes without recognizing that <em>two ideas, things, or circumstances might be very particular from each other in an increasingly applicable manner. </em>

False Dilemma is a fallacy <em>dependent on an either-or sort of contention.</em>

Two decisions are exhibited, when more may exist, and the case is made that one is false and one is valid or one is worthy and the other isn't. <em>A False analogy is an informal fallacy.</em>

Yakvenalex [24]

Answer:

Option A, mortgage payments , is the right answer.

Explanation:

A long-term loan which is intended to help us buy an apartment or house is called a mortgage. Our principal and interest payment made the mortgage payments. A borrower has to pay more interest in the early phase of the mortgage, however, the later phase of the loan values the principal balance.

The __________ fallacy is the mistaken belief that our own experience and values are generally held by others; while the _______
RoseWind [281]

Answer:

egocentric fallacy

Explanation:

Any fallacy is always a reasoning that leads to an erroneous conclusion, for thinking that others will act based on our same set of values or premises- This tendency to rely heavily on our perspective or deem our opinion as superior to others will often turn into a source of bias.

<em>Since people can have different values and culture, we need to accept that our thinking has always some form of bias.</em>

The ethnocentric fallacy is a common habit held when we think in terms of our background, which is not necessarily held by others, as view or  tendency to explain the behaviour our attitude, thinking that the rest of the people will mistakenly held our same cultural values.

We tend to compare to other races and consider our assumptions and expectations as superior to the rest of the cultures.

<em>We must recognize that this is another form of bias and that has negative consequences on the long term- </em>
