The statement; "Biomes can be classified geographically," is true.

Biomes are classified on the basis of climatic factors and the types of plants that are the primary producers. Biomes include tundra, boreal forest, temperate forest, temperate grassland, chaparral, tropical forest, tropical grassland, and desert.

Biomes consistes of a group of ecosystems with the same characteristics. These are well adapted to abiotic factors. Any earth surface that has got a very large ecological system characterized by dominant forms of plant and animal life forms adapted to the prevailing climate and other environmental factors is a biome. Biomes include both the abiotic and biotic factors.
