Brazil gained it independence on September 7th, 1822. Brazil got their independence because an antagonistic relationship happened between Brazil and Portugal. Brazil proved that their people could over power them.

One day, in 1808, France invaded Portugal and the Royal Family had to flee to Brazil. In 1815, Brazil ceased to be just a colony, despite still being under the domination of Portugal, when Dom João VI created the United Kingdom of Portugal, Brazil and Algarves. Those were some steps towards independence.

Should the United Nations have created Israel? You may conduct a brief Web quest if needed. Write your answer in an
Alex17521 [72]

Answer:

Why suggesting that the state of Israel should not exist, I am not being anti-Semitic. I am, however, being anti-Zionist. There is a distinct difference. An anti-Semite is someone who is prejudiced against Jews. An anti-Zionist, on the other hand, is opposed to that sector of the Jewish population who see it as their God-given right to establish a Jewish state in the Holy Land at the expense of the Palestinian people who have lived there for two thousand years.

The creation of a Jewish state in the middle of the Arab world not only represents the continuation of European colonialism in Palestine, it has also consisted of the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians and the establishment of an apartheid system by a rogue nation that has repeatedly violated international law. Given this reality, and the fact that Palestine is the Holy Land of three religions, the only just solution to the Zionist project of the Israeli state and its Western backers is the establishment of a single country: a democratic secular state of Palestine in which Jews, Arabs and Christians all have equal rights.

How was William Howard Taft’s administration different from that of Theodore Roosevelt
Tom [10]

Even though William Howard Taft and Theodore Roosevelt were progressivists, their politics and administration were different.

Roosevelt prefered rough-and-tumble politics, had many ides and schemes, but he ususally left all the details of administering to others.

Taft were calmer and approached things slower. He finished Roosevelt`s job dealing with big businesses, prosecuting twice as many as Roosevelt had.

He came to the White House promising to hold Roosevelt`s legacy but decided to execute the existing law than demanding new legislation from the Congress.

Generally, it is known that the Taft`s administration is considered a failure because he changed the course of the progressive program started by Roosevelt to reactionary conservatism.
