Mississippi - Perhaps more notably know for Blues, Mississippi Is a hot-bed for country music activity. Other than being mentioned in multiple songs; Mississippi is the birthplace of many country music stars like, Faith Hill and Johnny Carver.
Arkansas - An influential country music state. It's not difficult to find country music concerts/ festivals within the state.
Missouri - A long history with country music Missouri is definitely a country music state. The city of Branson is famous for having many country music-themed shows and attractions.
Tennessee - Home to Nashville (the country music capital) and of course, the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Kentucky - Most known for horse racing and a subgenre of country music (bluegrass), Kentucky has made quite an impact on country music. In fact, Kentucky has been the inspiration for many country music songs.
Oklahoma - Such stars as Reba McEntire and Garth Brooks were born and raised here. Besides the southern/country culture, there are large country music festivals held throughout the year.
Texas - Country Music is a way of life in Texas. There are more country music concerts, nightclubs, and small town shows performed in Texas than Tennessee.

Isaac Newton was creative in his use of prisms to show how white light is actually made up of multiple colors. He used logic in the way he presented his arguments rhetorically in order to convince readers of the correctness of his conclusions.
Newton was not the first to experiment with passing light through prisms to determine how light works. French philosopher Rene Descartes had done prism experiments of his own. But Descartes had thought that passing through a prism actually modified the light in order to produce the color spectrum. Newton correctly understood that when light refracted through the prism, it revealed the range of colors that were naturally in the light. He then used a second prism, blocking all but one color, to show that a single color passing through a prism was not modified in color. He also showed--by positioning the second prism differently--how the multiple colors of light could be recombined into white light again.
Newton's 1672 paper on light refracting through prisms established his reputation as a scientist. He continued to study light throughout his scientific career, publishing a larger work in 1704 on <em>Opticks </em>(as they spelled "optics" then).
Staph, as well as other pathogens, may change genetically by means of plasmids. Plasmids are DNA molecules which carries a rich diversity of genes that benefit the host cell. In this specific case, the host cell is the Staph bacteium. Among other things, plasmids carry antibiotic resistance genes.
<span>To illustrate how an ordinary Staph aureus bacterium can evolve into a methicillin-resistant bacterium, let's use the patient who doesn't finish an antibiotic prescription of penicillin. The Staph is weakened but not killed. Bacterial plasmids work quickly to produce genes that make the bacteria resistant to the drug. These parent bacteria replicate and pass on the plasmids, along with the DNA they contain, to the "daughter" cells. Voila! Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus! With the new DNA in place, each subsequent generation of Staph will also be resistant. But do not think for one moment that MRSA is otherwise somehow different from Staphylococcus aureus. MRSA IS Staph. Staph with an added feature. </span>
