If Connor were to earn 3 dollars after every 1.5 hours, the first thing you should do is to convert this into a unit rate, or try to find how many dollars Connor earns per hour. To find this, divide 3 by 1.5. This will get you to your unit rate which is 2 dollars per hour. Now that you know this, you must find how much money Connor makes after 3 hours, and how much he makes after 6 hours. To find how much he makes after 3 hours, multiply 2 by 3 which will be 6 dollars after 3 hours. To find how much Connor makes after 6 hours, multiply 2 and 6 which will be 12 dollars after 6 hours. Therefore, your answers are 6 dollars after 3 hours and 12 dollars after 6 hours.

What is ∛2197? Explain how you got your answer.
user100 [1]

Answer:

13

Step-by-step explanation:

We need to write our answer in exponential form. Ask yourself the question, "What times itself 3 times will give you 2197?" Your answer is 13^{3}. This will go inside of your cube root. You now have \sqrt[3]{13^{3} }. Since there's a power of 3 and a cube root, those cancel each other out, and your answer is 13.

Let g(x) = 2x and h(x) = x2 + 4. Evaluate (h ∘ g)(1). 2 8 10 4
Klio2033 [76]
Hello!

You can solve this by plugging 1 into g(x) and plugging the result into h(x).

g(x) = 2x
g(1) = 2(1)
g(1) = 2

h(x) = 2x + 4
h(g(1)) = 2(2) + 4
h(g(1)) = 4 + 4
h(g(1)) = 8

Answer:
(h ∘ g)(1) = 8

Does anyone know what absolute deviation is..?
Ostrovityanka [42]

Answer:

Mean absolute deviation (MAD) of a data set is the average distance between each data value and the mean. Mean absolute deviation is a way to describe variation in a data set. Mean absolute deviation helps us get a sense of how "spread out" the values in a data set are.

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the mean absolute deviation of the data, start by finding the mean of the data set. Find the sum of the data values, and divide the sum by the number of data values. Find the absolute value of the difference between each data value and the mean: |data value – mean|.
