If Connor were to earn 3 dollars after every 1.5 hours, the first thing you should do is to convert this into a unit rate, or try to find how many dollars Connor earns per hour. To find this, divide 3 by 1.5. This will get you to your unit rate which is 2 dollars per hour. Now that you know this, you must find how much money Connor makes after 3 hours, and how much he makes after 6 hours. To find how much he makes after 3 hours, multiply 2 by 3 which will be 6 dollars after 3 hours. To find how much Connor makes after 6 hours, multiply 2 and 6 which will be 12 dollars after 6 hours. Therefore, your answers are 6 dollars after 3 hours and 12 dollars after 6 hours.

Answer:

Aaliyah isn't correct.

Check the Explanation for the reasons why she is wrong.

Step-by-step explanation:

The complete question is attached to this solution.

Lines with equations in a coordinate system are basically stretched forever. Because, for every value of x, we will be able to obtain a corresponding value for y.

So, dilating this line by a scale factor of 2 and centering the line about a point (3, 4) (which is a point on the line), doesnt change anything about the equation of the line.

4x + 3y = 24

we show that (3, 4) is a point on the line

4(3) + 3(4) = 12 + 12 = 24. (Proved).

So, writing this equation of the line in the form of y = mx + c, we obtain

4x + 3y = 24

3y = -4x + 24

y = (-4x/3) + 8

which is very different from the equation of the line that Aaliyah has written;

y = (-4x/3) + 16

This proves the point that Aaliyah isn't correct.

Hope this Helps!!!!
