Why did Mormons leave New York

History

There were two reasons as to why the Mormons left New York. The first reason was that they were not well received nor were they well-liked in the New York community and felt that if they moved out westwards, towards Illinois and Ohio, they would be in a less hostile environment. This proved untrue, as they moved out westwards further than that (Utah, where 62 percent of people report to be Mormons). The second reason is that it is said in their Bible that they should migrate from New York westwards.

Answer: The largest American Indian tribes lived in Central and South America. Think Aztecs, Mayas, Incas, etc. In North America, the population was less dense. Even so, the city of Cahokia was built near the modern location of St. Louis, on the Mississippi River. It had many mounds and perhaps 30,000 people at its peak. In the late 1400s, the Iroquois and Algonquin groups lived in the midwest and northeast, the Cherokee lived in the southeast, the Sioux lived in the midwest, and the cliff dwellings of the southwest were already abandoned.

gavmur [86]

I believe the answer is: African Americans were receiving equal pay for their work so they also wanted equality in political life and other areas.

Their effort to demand equality in these area lead to the creation of the Civil Rights act in 1964. This law banned all people and organizations in united states to conduct discriminatory treatment based on colour of the skin , racial background religion, gender , or national origin.
