Based on the given information, determine which company has a lower minimum and find the minimum value. g(x) at (10, 855) f(x) a
Gekata [30.6K]

The minimum production cost of company 2 is greater than the minimum production cost of company 1. We arrived at this value by comparing the production cost of both companies.

What is meant by minimum production cost?

The overall cost incurred by a company to manufacture a product or provide services is known as the cost of production.

The objective of every company is to keep this cost at minimum, hence the minimum production cost.

How do find minimum Production Cost?

Recall that the production function is given as:

f(x) = 0.25x² - 8x + 600

Inserting the values given by the schedule we have

 1. f(6) = 0.25(6²) - 8(6) + 600 = 561
 2. f(8) = 0.25(8²) - 8(8) + 600 = 552
 3. f(10) = 0.25(10²) - 8(10) + 600 = 545
 4. f(12) = 0.25(12²) - 8(12) + 600 = 540
 5. f(14) = 0.25(14²) - 8(14) + 600 = 537

For company 2, we are given the various production costs as;

x - g(x)

6 - 862.2

8 - 856.8

10 - 855

12 - 856.8

14 - 862.2

Juxtaposing the above, we can infer that the minimum production cost of company 2 is greater than the minimum production cost of company 1.

If ∠1 ≅ ∠2 ≅ ∠3, ∠4 ≅ ∠5, and m∠4 = m∠3 + 10, what is m∠5?.
Pachacha [2.7K]
I'm assuming you're comparing two triangles? If not, then this is probably wrong. Triangle = 180 degrees 180 divided by 3 = 60 degrees since ∠1 ≅ ∠2 ≅ ∠3, each angle equal 60 degrees ∠4 ≅ ∠5 m∠4 = m∠3 + 10 m∠3 + 10 = m∠5 we know that m∠3 is 60 degrees. 60 + 10 = 70, so m∠5 is 70 degrees 70 degrees is the answer.

If 3a+b/b=7/5
what is the value of a/b
neonofarm [45]

Answer:

a/b= 2/15

Explanation:

3a +b

----------- = 7/5

b

now cross multiple both side

5(3a+b)=7 x b

15a +5b = 7b

15a = 7b-5b

15a = 2b

15a/2b = 1

a/b x 15/2 =1

multiple both side by 2/15

we get,

a/b = 2/15

hope you have no doubt now !

we get ,
