Answer:

Armando thought that everyone in the bank is watching him because he was nervous and at the same time scared of being robbed of the huge amount of cash he was carrying from the bank.

The truth was that he was just paranoid and his imagination of fear of being attacked and deprived of the money.

Explanation:

Armando is the protagonist of the short story "Fear", set in Mexico. He had gone to the bank to withdraw 50000 pesos, planning to buy himself a house. But once there, he became paranoid that everyone's watching him. Added to that, the bank teller began asking him unnecessary questions which add to the fear in him. He thinks that as he's taking a lot of money/ cash with him, he might be attacked by anyone. And when he left the bank, he also noticed that a heavy built man was following him, got on the same bus and even talked to three boys who Armando thinks are part of a street gang. But as it turns out, the boys were just there for a football tournament and they had to change buses as they had taken the wrong one. And, his imagination that everyone's staring at him was due to his own fault of putting his hat on backwards. Thus, the fear of being robbed and attacked led him to fearing for something that wasn't even real.

Further Explanation:

Armando Gonzalez had gone to the bank to withdraw a lot of money, actually more like all the money their family had got in order to buy a new house they can call their own home. But once he got there, he began to get paranoid about everything, suspecting whatever he saw and even imagining things leading to the worse. He was conscious of the amount of money he's carrying, which made him even more scared and suspecting everyone. But the truth was, people were looking at him because he had put his hat on in the wrong way. And also, he was the one acting strange, which will obviously had people to look at him with curiosity. Once he had encountered the schoolboys, only then did he stop his nervous behavior and stressing about the whole issue. No one was and had been after his money. In fact, he was the only one who put the attention of the others on him. His fear of being robbed and the thinking of losing everything that his family had worked so hard for led to his paranoia and false alarm.

Answer: Armando thought every one in the bank was watching him because he was nervous and he feared he was going to be robbed of his money. Fear was the idea that prompted him to behave this way.

Explanation: Since he had so much fear, he was not thinking logically. The bank teller was asking him questions that he believed to be unnecessary. The teller was also counting his money outloud to him and this caused him more fear.

A larger man was staring at him, and this caused him to start sweating and he became very nervous thinking the man was going to rob him of the 5,000 pesos.

Simplfy please fast this numbers
Troyanec [42]
You just do what it says, combine like terms so if there is more than one number squared just add up the numbers.
You also what to put them in order for the biggest number to the smallest so if there’s squared cubed and Normal number you want to put it in the exact order I gave you.

So first let’s combine.

-20a^2 + 40a^2 = 20a^2

5b + 35b + 2b = 42b

-15c

Therefore this is the answer.

20a^2 + 42b - 15c

How does Charlie's opinion of the Rorschach test change during the story?
irina [24]

Charlie's opinion of the Rorschach test changes in the story as :

"At first he thinks the tester is trying to trick him. Then he discovers there is nothing to the test."

Explanation:

In the story, "Flowers For Algernon", Charlie is selected for a one of it's king surgery where doctors are trying whether one's intelligence can be increased by operating on the brain.

He is selected as he is otherwise a mentally dull person. After the surgery, he is being put through a series of tests, Rorschach being one of them.

When Burt tells him to view the inkblots and mention what he can see in them, Charlie gets confused as he can see nothing but abstract ink bolts.

In the process, he thinks this is a trick being played by the examiner, but yet is not able to view anything in the test.

This way, his opinion about the test changes, and rather gets frustrated as he feels he is not performing well in the test.
