Why were wolf populations removed from Yellowstone national park

Geography
1 answer:
Oduvanchick [21]3 years ago

In the 1800s, westward expansion brought settlers and their livestock into direct contact with native predator and prey species. Much of the wolves’ prey base was destroyed as agriculture flourished. With the prey base removed, wolves began to prey on domestic stock, which resulted in humans eliminating wolves from most of their historical range. Predator control, including poisoning, was practiced here in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Other predators such as bears, cougars, and coyotes were also killed to protect livestock and “more desirable” wildlife species, such as deer and elk.

Explain how solar energy and wind energy are generated?
nalin [4]

Answer:

Solar energy is created by nuclear fusion that takes place in the sun. Fusion occurs when protons of hydrogen atoms violently collide in the sun's core and fuse to create a helium atom. This process, known as a PP (proton-proton) chain reaction, emits an enormous amount of energy.1

Explanation:

wind energy, form of solar energy that is produced by the movement of air relative to Earth's surface. This form of energy is generated by the uneven heating of Earth's surface by the Sun and is modified by Earth's rotation and surface topography.
