There are 2 regions that are considered as the place where comets originated, these are the Kuiper Belt and Oort Cloud. There are 2 types of comets that travel in our solar system, the short period and has a short orbit (few hundred years) is come from the region of Kuiper Belt and the longer period comets and longer orbit (thousands of years) come from Oort Cloud. But this 2 differs in the distance and location. The Kuiper Belt orbits are near with the pluto's orbit. Meaning it has an orbit which is approximately the same as the planets. The Oort Cloud region is the possible icy cloud that refers above. It is a shell which surrounds the solar system.

Answer:

equivalence

Explanation:

Recall that this principle is the basis of Albert Einstein's theory of general relativity. According to the German researcher, gravity is not a force that acts independently on each object, but rather a deformation of the same temporal space tissue.

According to the test carried out now by the team of astronomers, these three dead stars in two of their forms, a pulsar or a white dwarf, are perfect candidates to confirm the theory.

The equivalence was already understood centuries ago by Galileo Galilei. In his famous test of the spheres in the Tower of Pisa he demonstrated the existence on Earth. Subsequently, astronaut David Scott did the same on the lunar surface in 1971.

Now, this team has demonstrated it by studying two of the densest objects in the universe. Until today, many believed that the high density of the pulsar made him exempt from complying with the equivalence principle. However, being subjected to the gravitational field of one of the white dwarfs, the closest and least massive, after six years of observations, they have been able to demonstrate that both bodies have the same acceleration. And, if there is a difference, it is less than three parts between one million. That is the conclusion reached by a new test that tested Einstein and corroborated his theories once again.

Why would countries be willing to place barriers on trade? Explain two factors that might encourage a country to place quotas an
seraphim [82]
  1. To protect its local industries and jobs. Placing trade barriers restricts cheaper goods and service that may out-compete those of the local market if allowed to freely compete in the local market.
  2. To protect its population when it feels that the foreign products or services do not meet its national standards and that the goods/services may be harmful for its local population as a measure of national security.
  3. Trade barrier and tariffs are also used as a form of diplomacy. Trade barriers are imposed on good and services from a country that a nation considers hostile.
