Answer:

Honesty is the best policy

Honesty implies truthful. In other words, others will be able to trust you and trust is the basis of all relationship. If you always tend to tell the truth, you will be able to strengthen and improve your relationships with people. It helps to bring people together and a group of people will be a place where innovation can be created. Eventually, the more people are honest, the more they can contribute to society.

Another terrific advantage of honesty is the peace in mind. Honesty definitely makes us feel free. Honest individuals enjoy a relaxing feeling. The reason for that is because they do not feel the stress of lying. Moreover, honest people do not have to deal with keeping secrets. All of that make their lives very peaceful.

Honesty enhances the reputation of someone who regularly speaks the truth. An honest person enjoys a great deal of respect in society. Such a person appears to be well-liked by people around them, they are more likely to be promoted in career path or be successful if they do business.

By contrast, some deceive others by being dishonest. This just brings them a short-term benefit. When others know the truth, no one will trust them anymore. No one wants to be friends or do business with them. At the end of the day, they will be losers in both personal life and working life.

Ultimately, honesty really is the best policy. It is the only one thing that helps you lead a happy and successful life while the benefit of a lie has come and gone.

Which of the following could be used to slow the pace of a story?
OleMash [197]
I believe that flashbacks could be used to slow the pace of a story. If you are telling one story, and then decide to introduce a flashback, that would only slow down the story you are already telling.
