Emily works at a purfymery. She extracts 3 lliters of essential oil for perfumes in two days. Assuming Emily extracts essential

oil at a constant rate, we can graph this relationship with time in days along the X-axis and quantity of oil in liters along the y-axis. What is the slope representing the relationship? And what is the amount of oil Emily extracts after five days?

The initial slope would be (2, 3)
and the amount of oil she would extract would be 7.5 liters
Oil      3 + 3 + 1.5 = 7.5
Days  2    2     1 = 5

Answer: The slope representing the relationship = \dfrac{3}{2}

Emily extract 7.5 liters oil after five days.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let time in days is represented by 'x' and quantity of oil in liters is represented by 'y'.

Assume Emily extracts essential oil at a constant rate.

Given statement :- Emily extracts 3 liters of essential oil for perfumes in two days.

We know that the slope of linear graph is the rate of change of  y (dependent variable) with respect to x (independent variable).

\text{i.e. Slope}=\dfrac{\text{change in y}}{\text{change in x}}\\\\\Rightarrow\ \text{Slope}=\dfrac{3}{2}

⇒ The amount of oil Emily extracts after one day = \dfrac{3}{2} liters

Now, The amount of oil Emily extracts after  five days = \dfrac{3}{2}\times5=7.5 liters

Answer:

A.)

Step-by-step explanation:

The answer that you had chosen is correct, because the number line is stating that you are subtracting 5 from 0, giving you -5. Then it is saying that you are subtracting 2 from that, giving you -7.

B.) is wrong, because they are adding the answer of the correct equation with another number, which would equal -12.

C.) is incorrect, because when you are adding a positive with a negative, you are actually subtracting, not adding. When you are doing this, always keep the sign for the answer (negative or positive) with whatever the larger addend is. So in this letter's situation, the equation would look like this: -5 + 2 = -3.

D.) is incorrect because once again, they are taking the original correct answer and subtracting it from another number, which would be -12.

I hope this helps.

Give at least three examples of how earlier periods made use of the accounting process? How did the accounting process help such
Ksju [112]

Answer:

i am not sure of these answer but what i know i am gonnna share eith you

Step-by-step explanation:

. The people relied on primitive accounting methods to record the growth of crops and herds. Because there was a natural season to farming and herding, it was easy to count and determine if a surplus had been gained after the crops had been harvested or the young animals weaned.

2. The use of the words "debit" and "credit" in accounting goes back to the days of single-entry bookkeeping, which had as its chief objective keeping track of amounts owed by customers (debtors) and amounts owed to creditors.

3. Accounting as an ad-hoc ordering system devised by the merchant. Its regular use provides the merchant with continued information about business, and allows to evaluate how things are going and to act accordingly.

Answer would be 0 because whatever you get when you plug in g&h in the equation you have to multiply that by 0. And a number multiplied by 0 is always 0.
