The correct answer will be option-transition reaction.

Explanation:

The aerobic respiration is a type of cellular respiration which helps in the formation of the energy molecules called ATP by the oxidation of the food material. The respiration produces carbon dioxide as a byproduct.

The aerobic respiration is a complex process which takes place in four stages: glycolysis, pyruvate decarboxylation, Krebs cycle and electron transport chain.

The pyruvate formed as a result of the glycolysis moves from the cytoplasm to the mitochondria where it is converted to the acetyl CoA producing NADH and carbon dioxide (CO₂) via transition reaction. Since two molecules of pyruvate undergo decarboxylation, this produces two molecules of the carbon dioxide.

Thus, the option-transition reaction is the correct answer.

During the Krebs cycle

Carbon dioxide and water are created as byproducts. In cellular respiration, glucose and oxygen react to form ATP. Water and carbon dioxide are released as byproducts. The three stages of aerobic cellular respiration are glycolysis (an anaerobic process), the Krebs cycle, and oxidative phosphorylation.

What is the best description of what viruses are made of?
Mazyrski [523]

The answer is C.

A virus is made up of or consists of a nucleic acid in varying quantity which may either be RNA or DNA.

The nucleic acid is surrounded by a protein shell called a capsid. The word capsid comes from the Latin word  capsa which means box.The capsid and the nucleic acid within it are together referred to as nucleoprotein. The  capsid is made up of small sub units called capsomeres.

In many viruses, the nucleoprotein makes up the whole virus. More complex viruses have one or more further enclosing structures also made mostly of protein. These structures are referred to as envelopes and each envelop is specific to a particular virus.

Explanation:

The differences between primary and secondary dimension of diversity are as follows -

A) Primary Dimension

a) Primary dimension are those which are salient and hence they cannot change

b) Some common examples of primary dimensions are - ethnicity, sexual orientation, ethnicity,  gender, race, physical abilities/qualities, age etc.

A)  Secondary Dimension

a) Secondary dimension are not only limited to specific features and hence they can change with time.

b) Some common examples of secondary dimension are - geographic location, marital  status, parental status. work experiences, educational background, income, military experience, religious beliefs, etc.

Hence, option A is correct
