The graph passes through the points (2,2) and (6,6)
This means
f(2) = 2
f(6) = 6

The average rate of change of f(x) x = 2 to x = 6 will be:

\frac{f(6)-f(2)}{6-2} = \frac{6-2}{4}= \frac{4}{4}=1

Thus the average rate of change of given function from x = 2 to x = 6 is 1

Number 8 please! Please!
MariettaO [177]
Well we know she filled up her car 11 times each with 14 gallons.

All we have to do is multiply 11 by 14
11 x 14 = 154

Now the question says to estimate. And our answer can be rounded down to 150 gallons.

So your answer is..
B.) 150 gallons.

Good Luck! :)
