Answer:

During agricultural revolution, due to increasing pressure on local environment, the population began to increase in smaller areas.

Explanation:

An area of land can be used for growing crops instead of hunting and gathering. Because of the revolution in agriculture, human population has grown at an unprecedented rate.

Small areas of land can support as many as 500 people for farming and people didn't want to waste those lands with hunting. The food people consumed also changed a lot, as the farmers planted the seeds that contained desired qualities. This gave rise to domesticated plants which was quite different from the wild ancestors.

Which measure did Los Angeles take as a result of severe droughts?
Lana71 [14]
The city of Los Angeles released 96 million "shade balls" into the Los Angeles Reservoir. These will serve to shield the water from the sun's heat in order to reduce evaporation and prevent algal and bacterial growth so no toxic substances are produced in the water. The balls reduce evaporation by 85%-90% so will save a lot of water yearly.

Mademuasel [1]

Answer:

During high tide when the level of seawater rises, more sea water is brought into the estuary. This makes the water very salty and thus increases the percentage of dissolved salt in the estuary. Therefore, at high tide, the salinity of an estuary increases significantly.
