The mitosis is the division of the somatic cells. This is a non-reductional division, and the daughter cells formed in this condition are similar to the parent cells. The genetic content of the daughter cells produced during mitosis remains the same as the parent cells.

So, in this case, if the parent cells have a genotype <em>aabb, </em>then after meiosis the cells would have the same genotype. So, both the daughter cells would have <em>aabb</em>.
